History

The Oxford Lions Club was organized and chartered on April 22, 1967 by the International Association of Lions Clubs.  We are an active group that has much fun and great fellowship while serving our community and fulfilling the needs of those less fortunate.

Lions International, with headquarters in Oakbrook, IL, divides the world into districts. The Oxford Lions Club is in District 20Y-1 and is a local unit of Lions International.  The bonds of fellowship formed by club participation help members carry out their important local and worldwide service activities.
